Public Safety Communications

We work with federal and state clients to develop economically viable and technically sound public safety communication networks that will foster nationwide operability and interoperability at local, regional, state, and national levels. HAZMED is a member of the All Hazards Consortium, a 501(c)(3) organization of public and private sector stakeholders guided by state governments and focused on regional homeland security and emergency management collaboration within the mid-Atlantic region and surrounding states.

HAZMED operated the LaRC emergency broadcast system, preparing messages about available safety and industrial training, environmental updates, and severe storm warnings.
